PIVOT!! Definitely brings that clip to mind, and I still laugh out loud! But Steph, PLEASE don't pivot! I love your writing, your talent, your insights and the witty way you have with words! 😍

I am with you...and love the shout out to Ross's iconic scene.

It's still so funny! And I love Chandler yelling "SHUT UP" in a way that's so relatable to me. Although it's really hard/impossible for me to watch Friends since Matthew Perry died, it just makes me so sad.

Me too! We actually watched the whole series over a few months after he died. Such a part of our lives!

This echoes a post I wrote a few weeks ago on my 2025 word of the year (effortless). As a busy working mom I too just want simple, boring, rhythm, sameness. It’s what brings me the most peace !!

Yes! Change and progress is good, but there's just way too much change right now... and a lot of it is NOT for the better. Really yearning for "the good ol' days" way too much lately.

This is so true. Everyone and their dog tells you that change is constant. That change is good. That you need to adapt to the times.

But like I really just don't want to. I am happy with what I am doing. I hear that five-year-old whine of "I don't want to" and I echo it.

I think too much change is too disorienting and causes burnout and fatigue, which so many of us are feeling right now. Need a bit more status quo at the moment.

If you’ve found what you love, why would you want to pivot? You’re a powerful (and humorous) writer. 💓 I hope more work comes your way!
