I totally hear you. My glass or cup is pretty empty these days, with a 9minth old I feel like idk who I am anymore. Some me time is much needed and I keep reminding myself of this every day... I hate not being productive but then my body and mind take a hit. I've been doing small things for myself on the daily this past week and I already feel slightly happier. Let me keep that up, cause mama needs it.

Yes, keep it up if/when you can because it's so easy to forget to take care of ourselves. Parenting a 9 month-old is no joke. Hang in there!

I absolutely get what you are saying about not enough time. if I could change anything i would like a 36 hour day however..... last Saturday, on a whim, most unlike me, I took myself off to a nearby spa, booked an hour's head neck and back massage. It was wonderful. Didn't tell anyone where and why I was going. Husband was watching sport on TV and told him I'd be back later. After the massage, I spent the afternoon in the spa infinity pool. The spa is located on the 8th floor of our international airport Intercontinental Hotel. It looks out literally onto ugly urban landscape but while I was in the indoor pool on the 8th floor gazing out onto roofs and highways, we had the most spectacular thunder storm with a big angry blue black sky, thunderbolts and lightening, followed by the brightest. cleanest sunshine and rainbows. The raindrops on the windows sparkled like jewels. It was magical. If I hadn't taken the time for myself I would not have witnessed nature's magnificence in the most mundane setting.

I've booked again for next week.
