I loved Wicked, and I have never seen the stage version. I was transported by the climactic scene and song. Experiencing the arts is more than an escape; it's necessary to nourish our spirits. (Well, romance novels are mostly an escape, but stress reduction is also important. 😉).

My mother always said to answer questions with just enough information so they think about your answer. You did well with how you handled it. I think I would have said the baby must have been left alone which I would never do. It's a hard one to explain. Children are lost in many ways through out time. Usually taken by family members. But there are the killers. I would tell the kids always to make sure to stay close so it won't happen.
